A series of haikus about icebergs.
Icebergs are really
not ice. Snow compressed over
millions of years.
Snow falls, and more snow.
Weight of snow pushes down on
the snow underneath.
Snowflakes break down and
compress together into
hard substance like ice.
More snow falls, pushes
ice downhill like a river.
Glacier flows slowly.
Flowing over hills
causes ice to crack open.
Big crevasse danger.
Polar bear shits on
ice. Poop falls in a crevasse.
No TP, oh no.
Boat sails by glacier.
Tourists say ooh ahh ohh ahh,
super impressive.
After a long time,
ice reaches the sea and breaks
off of the glacier.
This is an iceberg
floating in the deep blue sea.
Tourists take pictures.
Little do they know
inside is ancient bear poop.
Ha ha that’s funny.
